When travelling to a clinic isn’t possible, we bring dentistry to the bedside. Our domiciliary service provides private hospital dentistry for in-patients across Birmingham. We work with ward teams and families to deliver safe, gentle dental care at Queen Elizabeth, City, Heartlands, Good Hope and other hospitals where access is approved. Our focus is on comfort, dignity and clear communication for patients, staff and families.

How a ward visit works
- Referral & permissions: arranged with ward staff and, where appropriate, patient family or carer consent.
- Assessment: bedside examination using portable instruments and PPE.
- Treatment: urgent relief, denture work and simple extractions where safe and agreed.
- Handover: written notes for the medical record plus discharge and follow-up advice.

Can all treatments be done at the bedside?
No. We provide assessment, urgent relief and selected procedures. Complex cases are referred to hospital dental or maxillofacial teams.
Do you add notes to the hospital record?
Yes. We provide written findings, treatment details and aftercare instructions for ward documentation.
Will you update families?
With patient consent and ward agreement, we update families or carers and provide written discharge summaries.
Is this an NHS service?
No. We provide a private domiciliary service. The consultation fee is £549; treatments are explained and quoted separately.
